Vatva GIDC Industrial Estate, Ahmedabad was set-up in the year 1968, when GIDC took steps to initialize the Industrial revolution of Gujarat. NIRMA, TORRENT, INTAS, PRASHANT GROUP OF INDUSTRIES, DUTRON, MEGHMANI GROUP OF INDUSTRIES, GODREJ, PARLE, CADILA GROUP OF INDUSTRIES, MILACRON, KIRI INDUSTRIES, HINDUSTAN DOROLIVER, CETP, NOVEL SPENT ACID MANAGEMENT, etc are some of the stalwarts which have contributed towards its growth due to the Estate. Prominent Government institutes like CIPET, National Leather Research Institute, Indo German Tool Room, and National Standards Laboratory are also a part of Vatva.

Established in the year 1970, with just a handful of Industrialists, the Vatva Industries Association (VIA) has today completed its Golden Jubilee & attained the position of the largest Industries Association in the whole Gujarat, with a membership more than 1500 units, & known to protect the interest of its members and industry as a whole. It has greatly contributed towards the growth & development of Industries in the state.

Leaders of the Association and visionary leading Industrialists of the prominent and large Industries of the estate, have time and again strongly represented the best interests of all its members in various administrative and policy making bodies of all Governments. Their alertness has always held in safeguarding members against any disturbance in Industrial peace in the estate.

Vatva Industries Association organises various programs & seminar on different topics aimed to provide members information & training in various administrative and technical aspects of the business. We also organise regular interactions with Government officials and ministries too.
